What are your experiences with BMW fork covers?
Installation was easier than it looked. By that time I had lost the black strip so I used a masking type tape to pad the cover. Also, my forks had some mile on them so they had a touch of rust on some spots due to salt air and dead bugs sitting too l long on them. Added wax and some oil to prevent any corrosion under the cover. Instead of O-rings, suggest flat gasket to prevent water intrusion under the cover - air/water vapor can pass but less rain when riding can get in. Love the look.
